Who processes your data

The controller of the personal data collected through this site is:

What we collect

We only ask for what is needed to manage your booking:

  • When you book: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and the language you prefer us to write to you in.
  • For each booking: the class, date, number of spots, amount, payment status and any note you send us.
  • After the class: whether you attended, so we can keep track of the spots.
  • If you create an account: the login details WordPress manages.

We do not collect special categories of data. If you tell us about an injury or a physical limitation in the notes field, you do so voluntarily and we use it solely to adapt the class to your needs.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

Purpose Legal basis (GDPR)
Managing your booking and holding your spot Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b)
Sending you the confirmation, reminders and cancellation notices Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b)
Recording payments and meeting accounting and tax obligations Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c)
Remembering the language you chose while browsing Legitimate interest in the site working (art. 6.1.f)

We do not send marketing or newsletters unless you separately consent, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

Who else can access it

We do not sell or share your data. Only the providers that keep the service running have access, as processors and under a written agreement:

  • The company hosting this website.
  • The service that delivers our emails.

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

  • Bookings and payment records: for the period required by accounting and tax law, counted from the end of the relevant financial year.
  • Your customer record: while you remain a customer and, afterwards, for the limitation period of any possible claim.
  • Technical log of sent emails: 180 days, solely so we can check whether a message was delivered.

When you ask us to erase your data, we remove what identifies you — name, email, phone and notes — and keep the bookings in anonymised form, because they are the record of a financial transaction we are required to retain.

Your rights

You may at any time ask us to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to the address above; we will reply within one month.

If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection. The personal links we email you to view or cancel a booking are stored hashed in our database: not even we can reconstruct them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page.
